An independent and complete guide to Sony full frame E-mount lenses

A few months ago we shared an in-depth and very well-written guide to manual focus lenses for the Sony A7 series by the team at philipreeve.net. Now the website has another guide worth looking at if you are a Sony mirrorless full frame user or soon to be: a complete guide to all the FE lenses available on the market.

Like the manual focus guide, the new one is based on individual reviews of all the lenses made by Philip Reeve and his collaborators. They’re all photographers who are passionate about their job and this allows them to share thorough and honest feedback about the pros and cons of each product.

The FE guide features all lenses (manual and autofocus, Sony and third party) that feature electronic contacts to send aperture, focal length and focus distance data to the camera body. The only two exceptions are the Laowa 15mm f2 and the Mitakon 50 f/0.95. You can check out the article here. Enjoy!
