Using Olympus’ High Res Shot for Shooting Interior Architecture

John Nassari is an Olympus Visionary who specialises in a number of photography genres including weddings, commercial/editorial, portraits and architecture. In one of his latest videos created for Olympus UK, he takes you through the process for shooting interior architecture using the OM-D E-M5 II and its High Res Shot mode.

As he explains in the video, the High Res Shot mode is only useful for static subjects because it combines 8 frames into one shot, but it can give you the kind of resolution you’d generally find on medium format cameras.

In addition to showing the camera’s capabilities, he also provides a few tips for illuminating interiors with flash and LED lights when natural daylight isn’t ideal.
