Michael Hurren, founder of the Melbourne-based production company Filmic Productions, had the chance to shoot with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 mark II well before its announcement in September. He recently produced a beautiful promotional video with the camera about the ‘Brumbies’ – the free-roaming feral horses that live in the high country of Australia.
The video was shot using Cinema digital standard 4K and the following M.Zuiko lenses: 7-14mm f/2.8 PRO, 25mm f/1.2 PRO, 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO and 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO.
A quote from Michael’s Facebook page shows just how impressed he was by the E-M1 II’s video capabilities:
“It’s an amazing camera, quick to switch between stills and motion, the flat profile, high bit rate cinema 4K are beautiful and the moves you can do hand held with this cam are awesome.”
