Rental services are useful because they allow you to test out bodies and lenses for a minimal fee before you make the choice to either buy or pass on the product. Likewise, if you only need a given lens for a special project or vacation, you can rent it for the necessary period of time and send it back when you’re done.
In Rob’s review, he takes you through the entire process, from the pricing and experience with the courier service to small details such as the packaging and the state of the samples. He concludes on a positive note by saying:
When it comes down to reviewing a service like this, I’m mainly asking myself two questions: is the service reliable and does it deliver what it advertises? When renting from Fuji the answer to both is a resounding yes.
