The newest entry-level OM-D, the E-M10 II, recently fell into the capable hands of Jordan Steele who runs Admiring Light, and his review is nothing short of glowing.
His list of positives runs long, touching upon the 5-axis stabilisation, excellent haptics and ergonomics, and full feature set. His only real complaint is that the 16MP Micro Four Thirds sensor is growing somewhat “long in the tooth” which is something that can be said for all the latest Micro Four Thirds cameras save the GX8 and its 20MP Micro Four Thirds sensor. However, it makes sense that Olympus didn’t give the E-M10 II a new sensor, as they are probably saving it for the E-M1’s successor.
Jordan concludes his review by saying:
This camera represents an excellent value in the Micro 4/3 world, with nearly every major feature of the E-M5 Mark II at a significantly lower price.
