Thanks to a Kickstarter campaign that was successfully funded in less than a day, Meyer Optik is bringing back one of its legendary lenses: the Primoplan 58 f1.9. Known for its ability to create different bokeh effects all with one lens, the Primoplan will gives photographers a tool which enables them to express themselves in many different ways.
Some of the different bokeh effects include the “dreamy-creamy” bokeh, which is soft and quiet, the “butterfly” bokeh, with background bubbles that softly melt into one another, and the “swirly” bokeh that draws all attention to the subject.
The new version of the Primoplan will be available for all mirrorless mounts including Sony E, MFT, Leica M, and Fuji X. By pledging on Kickstarter today, you can get the lens for much less than its future retail price.
