According to 43rumors, there is a new 0.95 lens on the block for Micro Four Thirds. Produced by Fzeros, this new lens is a 25mm Cine prime, the first of its kind for the system. It features:
- a handmade design
- super-precise focus control with standard follow focus gear pitch for filming
- 11 apertures blades for a smooth bokeh
- 11 elements in 9 groups with 6 ultra low-dispersion lenses and multi-layer AR coatings
Additional specifications include a macro ratio of 1:3.9, a minimum focus distance of 0.17m and a filter size of 46mm.
Looking at the lens, it appears quite large and heavy (120mm diameter / 640g) for small Micro Four Thirds cameras but should be a good match for larger models like the Panasonic GH4 or Olympus OM-D E-M1.
