Michael Comeau, a passionate street photographer who uses Sony full-frame E-mount cameras, recently came up with an interesting list of five lenses he feels Sony should consider adding to the current line-up.
Given that he is also a Canon user, many of his suggestions are based on lenses he already uses for the Canon EF system. For example, he feels that Sony should make a compact 40mm f/4 pancake lens that would resemble Canon’s 40mm f/2.8. Likewise, he’d love to see a cheap, lightweight and flexible zoom like the Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6.
The timing of Michael’s article is perfect as we will probably be seeing quite a few new lenses from Sony this year. Perhaps we will see some of his suggestions come to fruition!
