Have you ever dreamed about taking a coast-to-coast road trip across Canada? Well, that’s exactly what Fujifilm X-Photographer Spencer Wynn is currently doing!
His aim is to document his beautiful country in the year of its 150th birthday with the brand new GFX medium format mirrorless. In the process, he also hopes to meet up with some fellow X-Photographers so that they can try out the camera on their favourite landscapes, and take a series of roadside portraits of “the people who make Canada work”.
Spencer started his journey in Tofino, British Columbia a few days ago and has already reached Jasper, Alberta – a route that has afforded some stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. His final destination is St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador, though it is yet unclear how long it will take him to get there. What I can tell you, however, is that the images he has posted so far are an absolute treat for the eyes!
You can follow Spencer’s journey on his dedicated blog GXF Canadian Journal.
