Ghostly double exposures made with Fujifilm cameras by Eyes Unclouded

Vassilios Zacharitsev of Eyes Unclouded recently revealed an interesting long-term photography project he’s embarked upon. Using his trusty Fujifilm cameras – the X-E2, X-M1, X-T1, and X-Pro2 – he has created a series of double exposures that feature two human elements, usually two different views of the same subject layered on top of each other. As he explains in his article:

…there is no clear distinction about what constitutes the “primary” element of the picture; I wanted to make them in a way that you have to shift the focus of your attention between the different elements.

He was inspired by the world of ghosts and demons as it is represented in different cultures around the world, as well as psychological topics such as dementia, cyclothymia and depression. To post-process the images, he used Lightroom and the Analog Efex Pro plugin from Nik Software.

So far, there are ten images in the collection but Vassilios plans to add new images as he creates them. You can see the full gallery here!
