Sigma has just announced a small issue with the the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens for Micro Four Thirds.
According to a recent press statement, the lens does not properly correct distortion when shooting JPGs. (If you shoot in RAW, you can adjust the distortion in post-production.) The company states that it is currently looking into the issue and will announce a firmware update in the near future.
From now on, boxes will include a yellow sticker if the lens has received the proper firmware update.
