Today Fujifilm released new firmware updates for many camera models and lenses. The update aims to improve manual focus accuracy for the following products:
- Cameras: X-Pro2, X-Pro1, X-T1 & X-T1 Graphite Silver, X-T10, X-E2S, X-E2 and X-E1
- Lenses:
- XF 35mmF2 R WR
- XF 90mmF2 R LM WR
- XF 10-24mmF4 R OIS
- XF 16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR
- XF 18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS
- XF 18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR
- XC 16-50mmF3.5-5.6 OIS II
- XC 50-230mmF4.5-6.7 OIS II
Note that for the improvement to be effective, you need to update both the camera and the lens.
Improvements have also been made made to the optical stabilisation of some lenses. They are as follows: XF 10-24mm, XF 18-55mm, XF 18-135mm, XF55-200mm, XC16-50mmF3.5-5.6 version I and II and the XC50-230mm II.
The 50-140mm and 100-400mm also become compatibile with the new teleconverter TC 2x.
Finally, the X-Pro2 get two fixes with version 1.02 for the following problems:
- Horizontal lines appear on LCD or EVF in Auto-rotate playback.
- “TURN OFF THE CAMERA AND TURN ON AGAIN” message is displayed right after shooting.
