Sigma has released a new firmware update for its latest 30mm lens, more precisely the version designed for Sony’s APS-C E-mount cameras. Version 02 brings the following improvements:
- vignetting correction has been enhanced at f/1.7 when used with the a6300
- fixing an issue where the autofocus would occassionally stop when the focus point used was not at the center of the frame on the a6300
- the “Touch Focus” function no longer freezes the a5100.
