New firmware update for the Hasselblad X1D

Hasselblad has released a new firmware update for its mirrorless medium format camera, the X1D-50s. Version 1.17.2 adds the possibility to resize the autofocus point and an electronic shutter option.

Three AF groups are now available: 35, 63 or 117 points that you can choose by holding down the AF/MF button and pressing the display button to select them. You can bring the focus point back to the center by pressing the X button.

The electronic shutter extends the shutter speed up to 1/10,000s and can also be used for silent shooting or to avoid vibration.
