Leica released a new firmware update that aims to improve and fix a few bugs on the Leica Q. More specifically Leica states that the upgrade will improve the image quality at low ISOs (the recent Leica SL received a similar update recently). The new firmware 1.1 also fixes a few minor issues with the camera, as stated by Leica:
- Exposure has been corrected in digiscoping mode after switching off and on again.
- Improves the Live View in monochrome mode when AF tracking is selected. After the installation of the new firmware the Live View will show a monochrome image. For proper focusing the camera switches to color when pressing the shutter button half way.
