In response to the numerous bugs that have been making an appearance on the X-Pro2, Fujifilm has released its first firmware update for the camera, which you can download here. This new firmware addresses two of the most important issues:
- The phenomenon is fixed that in rare cases, established customized menu settings are reset to factory default setting when the camera is turned off.
- Improvement of image quality when shooting in the long exposure mode.
These aren’t the only bugs to have been reported, so it will be interesting to see if these are addressed with a future firmware update.
As always, be sure to follow the download instructions on the Fujifilm support page and always use a fully charged battery.
