FujiRumors has reported the suspension of the latest firmwares for the XF 90mm f/2 (version 1:01) and the XF 16-55mm f/2.8 LM WR, both of which were originally released on June 9th 2016. According to Fujifilm, the firmware updates (version 1:01 for the 90mm and version 1:10 for the 16-55mm) may cause issues on cameras whose firmware is the previous version. Quoting the press release:
In this case, the LCD on the camera blinks on & off after the camera is turned on and then a “Lens Error” message is indicated. If this phenomenon doesn’t occur after the firmware upgrade, this lens can be used normally.
