Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 vs 35mm f/1.4: A comparison by FujivsFuji

Our friend Donovan Bond over at FujivsFuji has just completed his full comparison of the two 35mm (50mm equivalent) primes from Fujifilm. As you’ll discover by reading through the article, there isn’t really a clear-cut winner. One has a faster aperture and a little more sharpness while the other is smaller and has the advantage of weather-sealing and superior AF performance. The one you choose will ultimately depend on your needs. As for Donovan, he states that if he had to choose between them, his choice would be the f/2 version because it is “more flexible, smaller, lighter, and 90% of what the XF 35mm f/1.4 can deliver optically.”
