Sony has unveiled a new firmware update for its flagship mirrorless camera, the A9. The update brings improvements to the autofocus and image quality, and also fixes a bug. Here are the details of firmware 1.10:
- Eye AF can now be used with A-mount lenses via the LA-EA3 adapter (for lenses that are compatible with 8 or 10 fps AF-C shooting)
- fixes an issue where RAW files could disappear when an SDXC or Micro SDXC card is used in select smartphones
- image quality and overall stability of the camera have been improved.
