One of our favourite pet photographers, Lindsay Dobson, decided to take a trip down to Brighton Beach yesterday to make the most of the UK’s first real heat wave of the year. It turned out to be a good opportunity to test out her newly acquired Olympus M.Zuiko 12-40mm on the sun-worshipping throngs who crowded the beach.
In her post, she shares a few initial thoughts about the lens, which she says is:
…every bit as superb as you would expect – solid build, weather sealing, and optically phenomenal.
She also feels that it balances well on her E-M5 II, though she admits it cannot be called lightweight like many of the other M.Zuiko lenses.
You can see her complete article and lovely images here. (It isn’t often that you see the UK looking this tropical!)
