Olympus UK recently started up a new series on its Image Space website called My Best Shot. Each post in the series will feature what three Olympus ambassadors consider their best shots from 2015.
For the first post, photographers Nicholas Goodden (street/cinemagraphs), Robert Pugh (weddings/portraits) and Jay McLaughlin (fashion/celebrity editorial) were featured and the cameras used were the OM-D E-M1 and E-M5 II.
Nicholas chose a B&W shot of a gentleman holding his daughter’s scooter, while Robert settled on an intense B&W portrait. Jay was the only photographer who chose a landscape shot, which was from his three-day trip to Marrakech. Each photograph is accompanied by an explanation of its importance to the photographer and how and where it was taken.
This new series isn’t the only example of how Olympus UK supports its official photographers. For instance, in a recent article on this blog, we talked about the Art Bermondsey Project Space, a not-for-profit creative platform founded in 2015 that promotes the fusion of art, photography and culture. It is here that Olympus regularly displays the work of its ambassadors.
