CosySpeed founder Thomas Ludwig shares his ‘Pen F Experience’

Thomas Ludwig is a great champion of small mirrorless cameras, a passion which inspired him to create the CosySpeed Camslinger belt bag range a few years ago. A recent model that has caught his attention is the new Olympus Pen F. It was sent to him by Olympus Europe to test for a few days in the town of Lübeck.

For his review, he shot both RAW and JPGs but was so impressed with the out-of-camera JPGs that he did not feel the need to post-process the RAW files. As such, the images you see in his review are all OOC JPGs taken with the Monochrome Mode II with some added grain and vignetting.

His review is very positive overall, and he gives special mention to the image quality and accuracy of single point AF. The only two things he doesn’t particularly like are subject tracking, which he found to be only 50% accurate, and the fact that you need to use your other hand to turn the camera on and off.
