Charlene Winfred takes the XF 35mm f/2 to Sri Lanka

I realise we’ve been sharing quite a few Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 reviews as of late but that’s only because so many good ones have been cropping up all over the web!

The latest is by Fujifilm X series ambassador Charlene Winfred. She recently received the 35mm f/2 on loan from Fujifilm for her trip to Colombo, Sri Lanka where her aim was to photograph the trains and train stations. (And boy did she ever bring home some good shots!)

What I found interesting about Charlene’s review, besides her incredible images of course, was her talent for turning what should have been a standard gear review into an entertaining story. She also makes some astute comments about the lens that others haven’t made thus far, such as the quality of the bokeh being better than that of the 35mm f/1.4 and the gorgeous cinematic flare.
