Today Sony announced that it will be bringing its Imaging PRO Support program to the UK in September. Already available in numerous other countries including Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the United States, the Imaging PRO Support provides the following benefits to qualifying professional photographers who use Sony equipment:
- advice and help including a dedicated telephone help desk offering support in using camera equipment
- free collection and return service for units require repairs
- a free back-up loan unit while the body is in service
- twice-yearly image sensor cleaning service with filter glass replacement
- firmware check-ups to keep cameras in top condition
Although the service is free of charge, you must own at least two Sony a camera bodies and three Sony a lenses from the list detailed below.
