Brompton Urban Challenge video shot hand-held with the E-M1 mark II by Vitalis Hirschmann

The Brompton Urban Challenge is a friendly event where people of different teams play a game of orienteering and cycling during which they need to complete challenges and follow clues around the city. Swiss photographer and videographer Vitalis Hirschmann took part in the event and decided to film his fun journey with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 II and the 17mm f/1.8. All shots were taken hand-held while he was riding his folding bike, which shows once again the great capabilities of the camera’s 5-axis stabilization.

Vitalis used autofocus most of the time for obvious reasons and we can see that the camera is not always reactive enough to keep up with the action, but otherwise the footage is very stable. You can watch the video below. It was shot in Cinema 4K, then downscaled to 1080p on Vimeo.
