Kevin Mullins explores ‘Britishness’ with the Fuji X70 and WCL-X70

What does it mean to be British? This is a question Fujifilm X-Photographer Kevin Mullins is currently attempting to explore through his ongoing personal project “Burning Britain.”

Whilst spending some time in Weston-Super-Mare on an unusually sunny and hot day, Kevin used the Fujfilm X70 and WCL-X70 wide angle converter to document British people on the beach. His aim was to capture bright and vivid scenes that were quintessentially British such as people walking around with Mr. Whippy ice creams, or walking their beloved dogs.

Kevin also makes some comments about the X70 / WCL-X70 combo. Although he is impressed with the quality of the images, he fully recognises that the wide angle converter compromises the compactness of the camera and can take away from its discreet nature.
