Eyes Unclouded Photography reviews the Fujifilm X70 for street and travel photography

One of our favourite premium compacts is the Fujifilm X70. Thanks to its 28mm fixed focal length, it is an excellent companion for a variety of genres from street to landscapes to environmental portraits. What’s more, it is the only Fujifilm camera to feature a tilting touchscreen, which is extremely useful for taking photos at challenging angles.

Recently, fellow mirrorless blogger Vassilios Zacharitsev of Eyes Unclouded Photography conducted an X70 mini-review of his own. Although it is shorter than other reviews out there, he manages to cover all the aspects that make this little compact so great for travel and street photography, such as the digital teleconverter that retains the 16MP using interpolation implemented in-camera, the screen, and the possibility to use it a wide-angle converter. He also includes a few nice images that demonstrate the camera’s capabilities.

Even though it lacks a viewfinder, I would personally go for the X70 any day because of its focal length and touchscreen, and it’s wonderful to see that other photographers like Vassilios feel the same way.
